Navigating Through a Learning Object

Moving Backwards/Forwards

When you first enter a Learning Object, use the 'Next Page' and 'Previous Page' buttons to move forward or back a page.

These buttons are present at the top and bottom of the screen.

Moving Past an Interaction

When you reach a page that contains an interaction, you will not be able to move past that page until you have seen the correct answer. The 'Next Page' button will be disabled.

You will see the correct answer:

  • either by completing the interaction correctly yourself
  • or by having the interaction completed for you after you have had three attempts at it. This happens automatically after your third incorrect attempt

Exiting a Learning Object

To return to the menu of Learning Objects, click on the 'Back' button near the top left-hand corner of the courseware. It will be situated next to the 'Options' and 'Help' buttons.

The Bookmark Facility

The Learning Object will track your progress automatically. It will record which page you had reached when you last exited.

On your second and subsequent visits to a Learning Object, you will go to the first page, the Splash Page, and be asked if you would like to return immediately to the last page you studied on your previous visit to a Learning Object.

Use the link 'Resume Learning Session' that appears on the Splash Page to return easily to the last page you studied.
