Packaging and Downloading Content
Note: This functionality is only available to system administrators, project administrators and publishers.
To package and download a page set click on the 'Package Page Set' link. This appears in the left hand task bar in the following places:
- A. Pedagogue Explorer's left hand task bar when the radio button to the left of a page set has been selected in Pedagogue Explorer.
- B. In the left hand task bar of the Page Set Editor which is accessed by entering a page set from Pedagogue Explorer.
On selecting 'Package Page Set' you will go to the Package Page Set page.
Packaging a Page Set
- Click on 'Package' button to begin packaging the page set
- When the page set has been packaged, the icon to the right of the page will change to indicate the page set has been packaged and is ready to be downloaded.
- Click on the 'Click to Download' button and a File Download dialogue box will appear containing options to 'Save' or 'Open' the packaged page set. At this point you should save the packaged page set to a safe place on your PC.
Important Note: The packaging of a page set may take some time. You can leave and return to the packaging page at any time. Leaving the page when you have started the packaging process will not stop it. If you leave and return later, the packaged page set will be available to download.
If the page set that you wish to package has been packaged previously you will see the following message: "Warning: A package already exists for this page set. Select the 'Replace Package' button if you wish to replace it."
- If you wish to download the already existing packaging page set, click on the 'Click to Download' button to the right of the page. A File Download dialogue box will appear containing options to Save or Open the packaged page set. At this point you should save the packaged page set to a safe place on your PC.
- Alternatively click on 'Replace Package' to replace the already existing packaged page set.
