Drag and Drop Columns Interaction

The drag and drop columns interaction is a content block that allows you to create three columns (note it must be three columns, it cannot be fewer or more columns) and add items that fit and need to be dragged to each column.

Completing a Drag and Drop Columns Interaction Form

  • Decide if the interaction is to be marked or not and check the check box at the top of the form if it is to be marked

Note: If the interaction is marked, the user's score will be saved if the courseware is being used in a virtual learning environment. The user will not be able to repeat the interaction as it will be disabled after the first attempt. The user is given one opportunity to complete marked activities.

  • Enter interaction instructions
Column One
  • Enter a heading for column one
  • Then add items that will need to be dragged to column 1
  • Add a new items by selecting 'Add New Item'
  • Remove an item by selecting 'Remove Item'
Columns Two and Three
  • Repeat the steps relating to column one for columns two and three
  • Decide how many attempts you want the user to have. Use the dropdown menu at the bottom of the form to make your selection
  • Save or cancel your entries using the on screen buttons
