Inline Video

The inline video player content block enables you to upload a video inline with content on the page.

Completing the Inline Video Form

If you select the inline video you will be required to:

• Upload a video. Do this by selecting 'Browse' and Pedagogue Explorer will appear in situ
• Click on the radio button to the left of the video you wish to select and you will see its name will appear on the form you are editing

Note: The video file will need to have been uploaded as an asset to Pedagogue.

Note: The inline video can be any size but we recommend 400 pixels x 300 pixels.

• Enter a video title
• Enter a description for the video. This appears on screen. It is used to introduce the animation

Note: The description is optional. If you do not add a description, the image will appear without one.

• Enter a transcript for the video for accessibility purposes
• Add details of how long the video is in hours, minutes and seconds
• Decide if you want the video to autoplay when the user reaches the page it is on by clicking a check box
• Decide if you want a border around the animation by clicking a check box
• Save or cancel your entries using the on screen button
