Talking Head Video
The talking head video player is a small box that houses video. This is usually used to introduce learners to the page content. It always sits in the top left hand corner of the page.
If a page contains a talking head video, the video will play automatically on a user's first visit to a page. The user can choose to close the video at any time using the 'Close Video' button which is situated on the video player.
On subsequent visits, the video player will need to be opened manually using the 'Open Video' button which is situated on the video player. Again, the user can choose to close the video at any time using the 'Close Video' button.
Completing the Talking Head Video Form
If you select the talking head video you will be required to:
- Upload a video. Do this by selecting 'Browse' and Pedagogue Explorer will appear in situ
- Click on the radio button to the left of the video you wish to select and you will see its name will appear on the form you are editing
Note: The video will need to have been uploaded as an asset to Pedagogue.
Note: The video needs to be 160 pixels x 120 pixels.
- Add a text transcript of the video for accessibility purposes
- Save or cancel your entries using the on screen buttons
