Adding Pages
To add a page:
- Navigate to Pedagogue Explorer and select 'Create Page' from the left hand pane.
The page editor will appear, into which you enter the file name. This is the name of the file that you will see in Pedagogue Explorer.
- Save or cancel your entry using the on screen buttons.
Note:
- Cancel and you will always return to Pedagogue Explorer.
- Save & Close and you will save your work and return to Pedagogue Explorer.
- Save and your work will be saved, but the page you are on will still be active for you to continue editing. The page you are on may alter slightly to allow you to perform the next step in the editing process.
The Cancel, Save & Save and Close buttons perform the same function wherever they appear. As a result, these functions will not be covered again.
Additional Page Editor Functionality
The Page Editor' allows you to:
- Add/edit the page title as described above
- Add 'content blocks' to a page
A content block is a type of content that is available in Pedagogue. Examples include:
- Text
- Image
- Video player
- Animation
- Interaction

Adding a Content Block to a Page
When you have either clicked 'Save' after adding a page title to a page or gone back into a page you've created via Pedagogue Explorer, you will see a dropdown menu with the title 'Content Block Selector' above it.
- Select the dropdown menu and you will see a list of content blocks available
- Select a content type, then 'Add' which appears below the content block selector
You will be taken to the form that will allow you to fill in the details required for the content block you selected.
- Complete the form in line with the details you will find in section entitled 'Content Blocks'
- Select 'Save & Close' to save your work and return to the page editor which contains the content blocks you have selected for the page you are editing or select 'Cancel' to cancel your entries and again return to the page editor
